Motor Restoration Services At Aim Outboard Recyclers.
Whatever your restoration needs are we are happy to help. You may only want to restore the powerhead,
clean up the wiring, redo the igntion system, clean up the outside of the motor, or a complete motor restoration. We are able
to service any of those requests to your satisfaction.
We spend alot of time restoring an engine; we like to book these for the winter months to allow us the time to deliver you a professionally restored motor. We do offer engine rebuilding & vintage motor tune-ups, igntion repairs, fuel system & lower unit repairs all year long.
A quality finished product is only as good as the products and time spent to complete the job. We have been told many times that our attention to detail is second to none. We are very satisfied when our customers respond with those comments, that we continue to work harder to develop an even better finished product.
Here is a Mercury Mark 55H Racing Housing Before
under-going restoration. We take the housing completely apart and replace all worn parts, strip the paint, prime the housing,
fill any voids & then add the base coat clear cloat paint.
Here we have the same Mercury Mark 55H Racing housing after the restoration and assembly process. All hardware and fasteners have been
replaced with stainless and plated parts have been replated.
Aim Outboard Recyclers' Restoration Process
- Dissasemble Engine Completely and Inspect all parts.
- All Plated Items are sent out for replating
- Supply Powerhead with new gaskets, bearings, rings & seals
- Supply Lower Unit with new seals, bearings & water pump kit
- Strip all Painted surfaces then prime, fill & paint base coats
- Apply new decals as required and clear coat all body parts
- Install new NOS or Stainless Fasteners
- Rebuild Fuel System, Ignition & Wiring and install
- Re-Assemble Engine, Test, Time and break-in motor
- Apply the final Restored by Aim Outboard Recyclers Sticker
